Belgium announced the suspension of the issuance of tourist visas to Russians
The Belgian Consulate in Russia suspends the issuance of short-term visas, including tourist visas, from July 1. This was announced on June 29 by the Association of Tour Operators of Russia (ATOR).
Since June 27, the Belgian consulates in Moscow, St. Petersburg and Novorossiysk have also suspended their work. According to tour operators, the suspension of the acceptance of documents is due to the updating of the visa center system.
From July 1, the Belgium Visa Application Center will accept applications for student and work visas, as well as visas for family reunification. This applies to applicants who plan to arrive in the country before 31 August.
